Back in Mexico, we were determined to ride the wave of our Play Date activities with an event for the kids. This month counts as a loss/win.. because while no kids showed up, we did have the opportunity to share Clean Planet’s mission and vision on the radio. Next time, we might try sharing the invitation to join us before the actual day of the event J
We did speak to a few kids in the park about recycling, and keeping their environment clean. Yet Vero and I will remember this Clean Planet as our first spot on the air – telling stories, and sharing why we participate in Clean Planet. A highlight was the enthusiastic questions and encouragement from radio host, (and close friend of Verónica’s brother) David.
Later in the day, Veronica, her brother Jaime and I completed our trash cleanup along the road between Atotonilco and San Miguel de Allende. The prevalence of trash on roadside made it easy to fill our trash bag, and reminded us of the gap in education that we are at work on to share the vision of a Clean Planet.
